A grinder was donated to a needy woman who earns her livelihood by running a small catering service, during the monthly meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Nanganallur.
The grinder was donated by the club’s past president, Mrs. Sravanakanya, helping the beneficiary continue her work with ease.
During the meeting, club president, Mrs. Bharathi, informed the members and the public about a free medical camp that will be conducted in the coming days, as part of the club’s service activities.
The members also celebrated the birth anniversary of Mahakavi Bharathiyar by remembering his great patriotism. A brief talk was shared among the public highlighting his life, thoughts and love for the nation.
The December month meeting concluded with the president sharing plans for a few more upcoming service projects, said club editor, Mrs. Anandhi Sundararajan.
