Seva Sri organisation conducted the Tiruppavai Thiruvizha in a grand manner Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Sri Sai Ram Hall, Thillaiganga Nagar, Nanganallur.
The stage was filled with tiny ‘Andals’ and ‘Kannans’ from LKG and UKG classes. Children from classes 1 and 2 beautifully recited the Tiruppavai Pasurams, creating a divine atmosphere.
Chief guest, Sri Sundarrajan, president of Uttara Guruvayoorappan Temple, was also the judge.
Smt. Prema Sundarrajan, Sri Vasudevan, Sri Parthasarathy, Sri Ramesh, Smt. Anandhi Ramesh and Smt. Divya Narayanan were the other judges. All the 120 children who took part in the event were honoured with prizes.
Under the leadership of Sri Ramanujam and Sri Sukumar, members of the Sahasra Nama Sabha performed the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam.
A Bharatanatyam performance by Selvi Saranya Parthasarathy from the USA beautifully portrayed Lord Krishna and Yashoda, leaving the audience deeply moved.
As a grand finale, Bharatanatyam guru Mrunalini Thiyagarajan of Natya Nruthya Academy, along with her students, presented dance performances for all the 30 Tiruppavai Pasurams.
Their costumes, expressions, and movements transported the audience to Ayarpadi.
Sri Ramkumar highlighted the greatness of Andal, which was well appreciated by the audience. Maha prasadam was distributed after the programme.
Sri Sundarrajan honoured the dancers and Sri Ramkumar for their contributions.
Seva Sri organisers Sri Sourirajan and Smt. Latha Ramanujam thanked everyone and personally took care of all the arrangements.
