26th year Abhanga Sammelan to take place in Adambakkam

Shree Vittal Bhajan Mandali, Adambakkam, is organising its 26th year Abhanga Sammelan from January 23 to January 25, 2026, at Sri Sankara Kendram (Sankara Mutt), Valmiki Street, Nilamangai Nagar, Adambakkam, Chennai – 600 088.

The spiritual event will begin on January 18 (Sunday), with Akhanda Dhara chanting of ‘Ramakrishna Hari, Panduranga Hari’ from 6 am to 6 pm.

On January 22 (Thursday), Sri Maha Ganapathy homam will be performed in the morning, followed by Thodaya Mangalam, Guru Keerthanangal, and Geetha Govindam, presented by Isai Peroli Dr. R. Ganesh Bhagavathar and troupe in the evening.

The Abhanga Sammelan inauguration will take place January 23 (Friday), by Adhikari, Viswa Varkari Samsthan, Kadayanallur Sri Tukaram Ganapathy Maharaj.

The day’s programmes include Geetha Govindam by Haridwaramangalam Sri Ramagopal Bhagavathar and troupe, Tharangam and Panchapathi Keerthanangal by Sri O.S. Mohan, Sri O.S. Mukund, and Sri Sriram Natesan, followed by Devatha Dhyanangal.

On January 24 (Saturday), special programmes such as unchavritti, Sri Radha Kalyanam, Thevaram and Thiruvachagam by Thirumurai Gnanamamani Sivasi Natarajan Shyamsundar, and Abhanga Bhajan by Sri Gnanananda Namasankeerthana Mandali, Chennai, will be held.

The evening will feature Varkari Sampradhaya Hari Keerthan by Kadayanallur Sri Raghunath Doss Maharaj and Sri Tukaram Ganapathy Maharaj.

The concluding day, January 25 (Sunday), will include Abhanga Bhajan by Cuddalore Sri Gopi Bhagavathar and troupe, and the grand Sri Rukmini Sametha Sri Pandurangan veedhi ula, led by Sri Math Thiruvengada Ramanuja Jeeyar Baktha Jana Sabha, Kanchipuram, with Sri Premkumar Bhagavathar and troupe.

Devotees are invited to attend the sammelan and receive divine blessings.
