SASTRAS-BPNN Trust, Nanganallur, has announced the 42nd
year annual celebrations and the 179th Sathguru Sri
Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival.
The 2-day festival will be held on Friday and Saturday,
February 13 and 14, 2026, at Balaji / Perumal Nagar,
Nanganallur, Chennai.
The inaugural function will take place on February 13 at 5 pm,
presided by Dr. N. Kamakodi, MD & CEO of City Union Bank.
The inauguration and prize distribution will be conducted by Mr.
G. Mohan, managing director of Bhuvaneswari Constructions.
The highlight of the evening will be the inauguration and vocal
concert by well-known Priya Sisters, Kalaimamani Shanmukha
Priya and Kalaimamani Hari Priya.
They will be accompanied by Vani Kala Sudhakara H.N.
Bhaskar on the violin, Yuva Kala Puraskar awardee Delhi S.
Sairam on the mridangam, and Sangeetha Mani B.S.
Purushotham on the kanjira.
On February 14, the day will begin with Unchivrithi at 6.30 am,
followed by puja at 8.30 am. The Pancharatna Kritis will be
rendered at 10 am., followed by music concerts.

The celebrations will conclude with Anjaneya Utsavam at 10.30
pm.
The organisers have invited music lovers and devotees to
attend the festival and seek the blessings of Sathguru Sri
Thyagaraja.
The venue is easily accessible, with bus routes 18D, 51M, 51S,
M14 and B51, and Kumaran Theatre being the nearest bus
