Thiru vilakku puja was held on February 6, 2026, at Sri
Karpaga Vinayagar Sri Pandurangan Sri Saradhambal Temple,
Adambakkam.
Mr. N. Chandran, chairman, zone 12, and Mrs. Poongodi
Jagadeeswaran, Councillor, ward 163, were present on the
occasion.
Around 200 women took part in the puja with great devotion.
All pooja items were provided by the temple to the participants.
As a special gesture, Mr. Chandran and Mrs. Poongodi
Jagadeeswaran distributed silk sarees to all the women who
participated in the kuthuvilakku puja.
The participation of Justice (retd.) Mrs. Bhavani Subbarayan in
the puja was the highlight of the event.
