Free cataract surgery screening camp

A free cataract surgery screening camp will be held today,
Sunday, February 15, at Karthikeyapuram, Madipakkam,
Chennai. The camp is being organised jointly by Madipakkam
Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi and Pammal Sankara Eye
Hospital.
People attending the camp must bring their Aadhaar card along
with a photocopy. Those who are taking medicines for diabetes,
high blood pressure or heart problems should bring their
regular medicines and medical prescriptions without fail.
Patients diagnosed with cataract will be provided free
transportation, accommodation and food. They will undergo
lens replacement surgery at Sankara Eye Hospital.
Those attending the camp should come prepared to go for
surgery on the same day, if selected. After the surgery, patients
will be brought back safely to the camp location.
