As part of the celebrations connected with International
Women’s Day in March, the past presidents and charter
members of the Inner Wheel Club of Nanganallur were
honoured for their long years of service to society.
The ceremony took place during the International Inner Wheel
meeting held at Le Royal Méridien, Chennai.
District 323 chairman Devi Mathimaran, along with club
president Jyothi Mahipal, honoured the charter members of the
club who have actively served the organisation for more than
25 years.
The members who received the recognition were Mrs. Saroj
Ramani, Mrs. Premavathi Sundararajan, Mrs. Dhanalakshmi
Narasimha, Mrs. Anandhi Sundararajan and Mrs. Uma
Srinivasan.
These members have been actively involved in the club’s
activities since it was formed in 1997–1998 and have continued
their service till 2026. They received the awards with great
pride for their dedicated work in serving the needy through the
organisation, said club editor Mrs. Anandhi Sundararajan.
