The Seetha Kalyana Mahotsavam, organised by the Ramnagar
Association, was conducted at the Kalyana Ganapathi
Pravachana Mandapam, 3rd Main Road, Ramnagar,
Nanganallur.
The function began on February 28, 2026, with Anugyai
followed by Vigneswara puja around 4 pm. Devotional
programmes such as Thodaya Mangalam, Guru Dhyanam,
Geetha Govinda Maha Kavyam, Ashtapati, Tharangam,
Nichayathartham and Panchapathy puja were performed. The
fitst day concluded with Dolothsavam.
On March 1, the celebrations continued with sampradhaya
unchavruthy. From 8.30 am, sampradhaya bhajans were
performed by more than 25 Bhagavathas. Children also
participated with Bhakthi Rasa Veshangal along with Ganesathi
Dhyanangal and Divya Nama Bhajans
Kalyana Ashtapati was performed and kalyana seer varisai was
offered to the divine Couple. This was followed by
Kothnosavam and Churnigai.
Before the mangalyadharanam, Pravaram, explaining the
lineage of Lord Rama and Seetha Piratti, was recited as part of
the sampradaya rituals. Kannika Dhanam and
mangalyadharanam were then performed with great devotion.
Nalangu marked the conclusion of the divine ceremony.
More than 300 devotees from Ramnagar and nearby areas of
Nanganallur participated in the celebrations and received the
blessings of the divine Couple.
MSME Minister, Mr. T.M. Anbarasan, attended the function
along with zone 12 chairman, Mr. N. Chandran, and ward
secretary J. Natarajan.
Prasadam, that included mangalyasaradu for women, was
distributed to all the devotees and annadhanam was arranged
for everyone who attended the function.
The event concluded with devotees expressing happiness over
the grand and spiritual celebration.
