Celebrating spirit of women in society

Women’s Day was celebrated in a joyful manner on March 7,
2026, at Voltas Colony 1st Street Park. The event was
organised by Swasthik Madhar Sangam, bringing together
women from the locality for a meaningful celebration.
The chief guests for the event were Mrs. Durgadevi Natarajan,
167th ward Councillor, and Dr. Kritika Meenakshi from Diha
Clinic.
They addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance
of women’s empowerment, health and unity in society.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of
sangam president, Mrs. Sundari Kumaravelu.
Residents appreciated the efforts of Swasthik Madhar Sangam
for conducting the event and celebrating the spirit of women in
the community.
