A grand Sri Rama Navami celebration is being held Sunday,
March 29, in Nanganallur, with great devotion and traditional
rituals.
The event, Chennayil Oru Ayodhya, is being organised by VHP
Chennai and will take place from 8 am to 6 pm at Jain
Ranganayaki Kalyana Mandapam, 18th Street, Nanganallur.
A key highlight of the event is a 5 ft Sri Bala Ramar darshan,
arranged in a style similar to the Ramar idol in Ayodhya, giving
devotees a unique opportunity to experience the divine
presence.
The programme includes Sri Rama Navami special poojas,
bhajans, religious discourses, special patti mandram, and villu
pattu, creating a spiritual atmosphere throughout the day. In the
evening, a special Sri Rama procession and devotional singing
will be held.
Special attractions arranged for devotees include the Ayodhya-
style Sri Bala Ramar idol setup, Ramar bridge floating stone
display, Tirupati umbrella, and Perumal Sri Padham, which are
expected to draw more visitors.
Annadhanam has also been arranged for all devotees attending
the event.
