The Jeernodharana Ashta Bandhana Maha Kumbabhishekam
and Moola Mruthika Brindavana Puna Prathishtapana
ceremony will be conducted at Sri Raghavendra Swamy
Brindavanam Trust, Nanganallur, Thursday, July 9, 2026.
The event is being organised following the successful
completion of renovation works at the mutt premises. The
ceremony will be held between 9.15 am and 10.20 am under
the guidance and blessings of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra
Swamy Peetadhipathi, Sri Sri Subudhendra Theertha Swamiji,
who will preside over and perform the maha
kumbhabhishekam.
As part of the celebrations, rituals will commence from 6.30 am
on July 8.
The first day’s programme includes prarthana,
punyavachanam, kalasa sthapanam, Ganapathi homam,
Navagraha homam, Mruthika Brindavana homams, Veda
parayanam and other rituals.
On the morning of July 9, at 6.30 am, special pujas and
homams will continue, followed by the maha samprokshanam,
kalasapakishekam, Moola Mruthika Puna Pradhishtai, kalasa
abhishekam and other traditional ceremonies as per the
Mantralaya sampradaya in front of Sri Sri Swamiji.
The organisers have invited devotees from Nanganallur and the
nearby areas to participate in the 2-day spiritual event and
receive the blessings of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.
The trust has also expressed its gratitude to all devotees,
donors and well-wishers whose support helped complete the
renovation project and make the grand maha kumbabhishekam
possible.
