Two new spiritual books, ‘Sakta Upanishads’ and
‘Bhavanopanishad’, were released in a grand manner at Sri
Rajarajeshwari Ashram Friday, July 10, 2026, during the
Chandi homam. The event was held in a deeply devotional
atmosphere, with a large number of devotees and spiritual-
seekers participating.
Both books were formally released by Dr. Aravind
Subramaniam in the presence of devotees who had gathered
for the special homam. The publications are valuable additions
for students and followers of the Sri Vidya and Sakta traditions.
‘Sakta Upanishads’ contains eight Sakta Upanishads:
Bahvrucho Upanishad, Bhavanopanishad, Devi Upanishad,
Saraswati Rahasya Upanishad, Sita Upanishad, Saubhagya
Lakshmi Upanishad, Tripuratapini Upanishad, and Tripura
Upanishad.
The book includes the original Sanskrit text along with English
and Tamil translations, making these sacred scriptures
accessible to a wider audience.
The other publication, ‘Bhavanopanishad’, is a Sakta
Upanishad associated with the Atharva Veda and the Sri Vidya
sampradaya. It explains the spiritual relationship between the
human body and the Sri Chakra, highlighting their symbolic
unity. The book also contains the original Sanskrit text together
with English and Tamil translations, making this important
scripture easy to understand for readers.
The book release function was conducted successfully. Many
appreciated the efforts of Sri Rajarajeshwari Ashram in
publishing these important spiritual works and making them
available in multiple languages.
