Residents of Nanganallur have a wonderful opportunity to learn
Yoga free of cost under the guidance of Sannyasi
Krishnayogam, founder of the Satyananda Yoga Centre. A 4-
week Yoga course based on the teachings of the Bihar School
of Yoga will begin Monday, August 3, 2026.
The classes will be held at Shri Sudarshan Terrace Hall, B-2,
Lakshmi Nagar Main Road, Nanganallur, from 5.30 am to 7 am,
Monday to Saturday. Both men and women are welcome to
join.
The course is designed to improve physical, mental and
spiritual well-being. Participants will learn Yoga postures
(asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), concentration,
meditation, mantra chanting, healthy food habits and traditional
cleansing practices.
The classes will be conducted in a peaceful spiritual
atmosphere following the Bihar School of Yoga curriculum.
Those who successfully complete the course will have an
opportunity to join advanced pranayama and Yoga
programmes, including Kundalini Yoga, Prana Vidya and Kriya
Yoga at the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger, Bihar.
Even those who have learnt Yoga earlier but have stopped
practising are encouraged to join and refresh their practice.

Yoga classes are also being organised at Mambakkam,
Madambakkam, Velachery and K.K. Nagar for the benefit of
residents in those areas.
