The sacred Meenakshi Sundareswarar thirukalyanam was
celebrated at Sri Rajarajeshwari Ashram on July 31, 2026. A
large number of devotees gathered to witness the divine
celestial wedding of Lord Sundareswarar and Goddess
Meenakshi.
The Devi Goshti and many women devotees actively
participated in the marriage ceremony with great devotion. The
entire thirukalyanam was performed in a traditional and
magnificent manner, creating a divine atmosphere for all the
devotees.
On the following day, August 1, 2026, a kuthu vilakku puja was
performed in the evening at the Ashram. A large number of
women devotees participated in the special puja by lighting
traditional lamps and offering prayers.
The puja was conducted in a grand and spiritual manner, and
the devotees prayed for the well-being, peace, and prosperity
of their families. The 2-day celebration concluded with great
devotion and enthusiasm.
