Clearing way for free flow of rainwater

Cleaning work was carried out in the stormwater drains at
several places in Nanganallur Saturday morning, August 22,
2026.
Workers were engaged in removing the accumulated waste
and debris from the stormwater drains at Hindu Colony, 100
Feet Road, 46th Street, Lakshmi Nagar and TNGO Colony.
The cleaning work was taken up to keep the stormwater drains
clear and ensure the smooth flow of rainwater during the
coming rainy season.
Ward 167 Councillor, Mrs. Durga Devi Natarajan, inspected the
cleaning work and reviewed the ongoing activities at the
locations.
