Nanganallur Ladies Association, along with the Chennai Royal
Elite Lions Club, organised a free medical camp Saturday,
August 29, 2026.
Doctors and medical professional from Kauvery Hospital, Dr.
Agarwal’s Eye Hospital and Vision Opticals took part in the
camp and provided various health checks to the general public.
The camp offered general medical check-up, including ECG,
eye examinations and ear examinations. A large number of
people attended the camp and benefited from the free medical
services.
Lions Club district governor, Mr. Rajesh M. Joshi, and several
other office-bearers of the club participated in the programme.
Mrs. Durga Devi Natarajan, Councillor of ward 167,
Nanganallur, attended the camp and appreciated the efforts of
the organisers.
Mr. Venkat Subramaniam, president of the Chennai Royal Elite
Lions Club, Mr. Rajarajan, and members of Nanganallur Ladies
Association made the necessary arrangements and extended
their support for the successful conduct of the camp.
Students of PMS Matriculation Higher Secondary School also
rendered valuable service during the medical camp. The event
was well-organised and proved beneficial to a large number of
members of the public.
