The Nanganallur Ladies Association (NLA) has successfully
completed 25 batches of tailoring classes for women in the
locality.
Each batch consists of a 12-day training programme, during
which participants are taught to stitch blouses and churidars.
The classes aim to help women develop useful tailoring skills
and become self-reliant.
On the occasion of the completion of the 25th batch, certificates
were distributed to all the students who successfully completed
the training.
The 26th batch of tailoring classes will commence Tuesday,
September 15, 2026. Women interested in joining the new
batch can contact the organisers for further details.
