Nanganallur Speaks had earlier reported that the shelter work
in front of the Nanganallur Anjaneyar Ttmple was nearing
completion. The work has now been fully completed with
installation of lights and beautifully decorated pillars at the four
corners of the shelter.
The new shelter was officially declared open Thursday, March
12, 2026.
The project was completed at a cost of Rs. 95 lakh and was
inaugurated by MSME Minister, Mr. T.M. Anbarasan.

Devi, temple executive officer, Mr. Kumaresan, zone 12
chairman, Mr. N. Chandran and several others participated.
Mr. Ramani, the reason for the establishment of the temple and
who is fondly called Ramani Mama, also attended the function.
Devotees and residents expressed their happiness over the
completion of the shelter. They said the structure provides good
protection from the sun and rain for devotees visiting the
temple.
The beautifully decorated pillars at the four corners, each
featuring Lord Anjaneyar, have also attracted the attention and
admiration of regular visitors to the temple.
