The Panguni Uthiram festival will be celebrated from Sunday,
March 29, 2026, to April 1, 2026, at Sri Karpaga Vinayagar Sri
Pandurangan Sri Saradhambal Temple, Shanti Nagar,
Adambakkam.
As part of the celebrations, special cultural and devotional
programmes have been arranged on all days.
On March 29, between 6.15 pm and 8.15 pm, Anjaneya Maruthi
Bhajan Mandali from Nanganallur, led by Smt. Yamuna Murali,
will present devotional songs on Lord Muruga. This will be
followed by kavadi attam.
On March 30, between 6.15 pm and 8.15 pm, Sri Krishna
Kumar Bhagavathar and his troupe will render Murugan
devotional songs.
On March 31, between 6.15 pm and 8.15 pm, Sri Krishna
Kumar Bhagavathar will present a special programme, titled ‘Sri
Murugan Namamrutham’.
On April 1, at 7.30 am, a special abhishekam will be performed
to the presiding deities of Sri Valli Devasena samedha Sri
Subramanya Swami. This will be followed by alankaram and
prasadam distribution.
In the evening, at 5 pm, the celestial wedding (Valli kalyanam)
of Sri Valli and Subramania Swami will be held in a grand
manner.
At 8 pm, the processional deities will be taken in a grand
procession on a peacock chariot around the temple streets.
The procession will be accompanied by nadaswaram and nama
sankeerthanam by Adambakkam Saradha Mahila Bhajan
Mandali.
After the procession, a special marriage feast is being arranged
for devotees.
Devotees and the general public are invited to take part in the
festival and receive the blessings of the Lord.
