The Sri Rama Navami celebration organised by VHS Chennai
was held in a grand and devotional manner on March 29th at
Jain Ranganayaki Kalyana Mandapam, Nanganallur.
From morning till evening, a large number of devotees gathered
and took part in the special poojas, bhajans and religious
programmes. The entire venue was filled with a spiritual
atmosphere as devotees offered prayers and sang devotional
songs.
A highlight of the event was the 5 ft Sri Bala Ramar darshan,
beautifully arranged in Ayodhya style. Devotees were delighted
to witness the divine set-up. Special attractions like the Ramar
bridge floating stone display, Tirupati kudai, and Perumal Sri
Padham also drew the attention of visitors.
The programme featured Patti Mandram and Villu Pattu
performed by Mr. Ganesh, which were well received by the
audience. In the evening, a Sri Rama procession and
devotional singing added to the festive spirit.
As part of the celebration, various cultural and devotional
competitions were conducted for different age groups. The
organisers informed that these competitions had been
conducted earlier at various places, and on March 29, the
prizes were distributed to more than 200 winners.

Annadhanam was provided to all devotees, and many people
participated.
