Gokulashtami was celebrated with devotion and traditional
fervour at Sri Rukmini Satyabhama samedha Venugopala
Swamy Temple on Avaiyyar Street, Palavanthangal, Friday,
September 4, 2026.
The celebrations began early morning with thirumanjanam at 5
am. Sri Venugopala Swamy was then adorned with a special
vennai thazhi alankaram at 6.30 am.
A maha deepa aradhana was performed at 7 am, followed by
annadhanam. A large number of devotees participated in the
celebrations and received the blessings of Sri Venugopala
Swamy.
The temple premises witnessed a devotional atmosphere
throughout the celebrations. The temple administration had
made special arrangements for the smooth conduct of the
festival.
