The foundation ceremony for the construction of a new
stormwater drain was held at Kannan Nagar 2nd Street, Friday,
September 25, 2026, around 9.30 am.
The bhoomi puja was performed to mark the beginning of the
work under the leadership of zone 12 chairman, Mr. N.
Chandran.
Ward 167 Councillor, Mrs. Durga Devi Natarajan, zonal
engineer, Mr. Ravi Rajan, ward assistant executive engineer,
Mr. Kothandaraman, and 167th ward secretary, Mr. J.
Natarajan, were present.
Office-bearers of the Nanganallur Federation of Welfare
Associations, representatives of various welfare associations
and party functionaries also took part in the programme.
