| S VENKATESHWARAN |
On the evening of Friday, February 6, 2026, a thiruvilakku puja
was held at Kalyana Ganapathy Temple, Ramnagar, in a
devotional atmosphere.
In all 28 women participated in the puja which was an initiative
of the Ramnagar Association.
The Ramnagar Association has been conducting vilakku puja
twice every year. It is once organised during the Tamil month of
Thai, and then again during the month of Aadi, encouraging
women to participate and uphold traditional practices.
The participants appreciated the association for continuing this
spiritual tradition and bringing the community together in prayer
and devotion.
The lighting of lamps created a peaceful and spiritual
environment in the temple.
