As summer approaches, the much-awaited raw mango season
has arrived in Nanganallur. Markets are filled with fresh, green
mango varieties like vadu manga and avakkai manga,
attracting many residents who are eager to prepare the
traditional pickles at home.
A lively scene can be seen in the 4th Main Road market area,
as well as in shops near Ramnagar Anjaneyar Temple.
Customers were actively selecting mangoes, while vendors
were busy attending to the rush.
To make things easier, many vendors cut avakkai mangoes
free of cost, saving customers the effort of chopping them at
home.
Adding to the seasonal excitement is Chidambaram Stores on
4th Main Road, a well-known shop serving the locality since
