The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute of
Tamil Nadu (EDII-TN), functioning under the Tamil Nadu
government, has announced a special, three-day training
program – ‘How to Create Your Own YouTube Channel – for
youngsters, aspiring entrepreneurs, students and content
creators who wish to build their future in the digital world.
The training program will be held from May 25 to May 27, 2026,
from 10 am to 5 pm at the EDII-TN campus located in the
SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ekkattuthangal, near Guindy,
Chennai. The program aims to provide complete guidance on
modern digital content creation and online marketing
techniques.
During the training, participants will learn A-to-Z concepts
related to creating and managing a successful YouTube
channel. The sessions will include practical training on video
creation, slide show preparation, social media marketing, online
advertising methods, customer networking strategies, digital
branding, and advanced marketing techniques to increase
audience reach.
Participants will also receive an introduction to domain names,
web hosting, website designing methods and digital platform
management.

The government has stated that the training program will
greatly benefit new entrepreneurs planning to start self-
employment ventures, students interested in digital careers,
and talented content creators wishing to showcase their skills to
a wider audience.
Men, women, transgender persons, and all interested
individuals above 18 years of age are eligible to apply for the
course. Applicants must have basic computer knowledge and
should have passed at least the 10th standard examination.
For participants coming from districts outside Chennai, low-cost
accommodation facilities have also been arranged at the
campus. Those requiring accommodation are advised to
register in advance, as seats for both training and
accommodation are limited.
All participants who successfully complete the course will
receive an official certificate from the Government of Tamil
Nadu.
