Nehru school shining example of hard work

Nehru Government Boys Higher Secondary School,
Nanganallur, has made the school community proud with
excellent performance in this year’s class 12 board
examinations.
The students achieved good scores through their hard work,
dedication and continuous guidance from the teachers. The
school management, teachers and parents appreciated the
students for bringing laurels to the institution.
School principal, Mrs. Premalatha, expressed happiness and
pride over the students’ achievements as the school’s pass
percentage was 83 per cent.
She said special evening coaching classes were conducted for
10th and 12th standard students three months before the public
examinations.
The classes were held daily till 7.30 pm, and many students
attended regularly. She added that the extra coaching and
regular practise helped students improve their performance and
score good marks in the board exams.
The principal also specially appreciated the teachers whose
students secured high marks in various subjects.

The top four scorers of the school are Suhail S, son of Sadik
Basha, from the Biology group, who scored 546 out of 600
marks, Smaran D, son of Divakar, from the Commerce group,
who secured 530 out of 600 marks, Prakash S, son of
Sakthivel, from the Commerce group, who scored 501 out of
600 marks, and Yashwanth Aaron M, son of Mohandass, from
the Commerce group who also secured 501 out of 600.
The school’s consistent efforts along with the dedication of the
students and teachers have brought pride to the entire school
community. Mrs. Premalatha thanked the alumni members and
social activists who extended their support and encouragement
to the students and the school throughout the academic year.
