Boys keep Nehru school flag flying high

The students of Nehru Government Boys Higher Secondary
School, Nanganallur, have brought pride to their school with a
very good performance in the recently announced class 10
board examinations. The success of the students was
celebrated by the school management, teachers and parents,
who appreciated the students for their sincere hard work and
determination.
School principal, Mrs. Premalatha, expressed happiness over
the students’ achievement and said the school had taken
special efforts to help the students prepare confidently for the
examinations. She mentioned that special evening coaching
classes for 10th and 12th standard students were conducted
daily for nearly three months before the public exams. The
classes continued till 7.30 pm, and many students attended
regularly and benefited from the extra practice sessions.
The school topper was Sivabalan V, who secured 483 marks
out of 500. He scored 98 in Tamil, 97 in English, 96 in
Mathematics, 93 in Science, and 99 in Social Science. Sujith
Kumar S secured the 2nd rank in the school with 444 marks out
of 500.

The 3rd rank was shared by two students: Sai Saran N scored
430 marks with good scores in all subjects, while Sabari
Girishan B also secured 430 marks and performed well in the
examination.
The principal appreciated all the teachers for their dedicated
efforts in guiding the students throughout the year. She also
thanked the alumni members and social activists who
supported and encouraged the students and school activities
during the academic year.
