Special Guru Peyarchi homam at Ram Nagar temple

A special Guru Peyarchi Navagraha shanthi homam will be
held at Sri Kalyana Ganapathy Temple, 3rd Main Road, Ram
Nagar, Nanganallur, Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
The homam is being conducted for the welfare, health,
prosperity and peace of all devotees during the auspicious
Guru Peyarchi period. The temple organisers have warmly
invited devotees and the general public to take part in the
sacred rituals and receive divine blessings.
As per the programme schedule, the day will begin at 6.30 am
with a special abhishekam for Sri Kalyana Ganapathy, followed
by sankalpam. At 9 am, Navagraha homam and Guru
Bhagavan shanthi homam, along with special pujas, will be
performed. The main homam rituals are expected around 11
am. This will be followed by maha purnahuthi, deeparadhanai,
and prasadam distribution for all devotees.
The organisers said Guru Peyarchi is an important planetary
transition in Hindu tradition. Performing Navagraha Shanthi
Homam during this time is believed to bring positive energy,
remove obstacles and promote family well-being.
