The annual day celebration of the Tamil Nadu Senior Citizens
Welfare Association was held at Anna Nagar, Chennai,
Sunday, May 31, 2026, with the participation of senior citizens,
social leaders and distinguished guests.
A special highlight of the event was the release of ‘Kanindha
Vaazhvu’ (Fruitful Life), a book written by Dr. N. Bhadri, a
resident of Adambakkam.
The book was released by Dr. M.A. Raja of MGM Hospital,
Chennai, and the first copy was received by the association’s
secretary, Mr. T. Rajasekaran.
The function was attended by former Police Commissioner, Mr.
Kalimuthu, former Professor of Coimbatore Agricultural
University, Mr. P.P. Ramasamy, former vice-president, Mr. R.T.
Namachivayam, Federation of Senior Citizens Associations of
Tamil Nadu president, Mr. V. Rama Rao, and Nanganallur
Pensioners and Welfare Association secretary, Mr. G.
Sethumadhavan.
The gathering appreciated Dr. Bhadri’s contribution through his
book and congratulated him on its successful release.
