Educational assistance provided for underprivilegedstudents

Siksha-Svaasthy Trust (SST), a Chennai-based charitable
organisation, has been helping economically weaker families
through educational scholarships and medical assistance.
The trust has supported several deserving students and
families across Chennai, including beneficiaries from the
Nanganallur area. Recently, a student from Nanganallur
received educational assistance from the trust to continue her
studies.
Over the years, SST has helped a newborn baby undergo life-
saving treatment for a congenital heart defect, supported the
education of two daughters of a single mother, provided a
scholarship to the son of a temple priest pursuing a BBA
degree, sponsored the engineering education of a student from
a housekeeping worker’s family, and arranged Rs. 5 lakh
assistance for a medical student who was at risk of
discontinuing her MBBS course due to financial difficulties.
According to the trust, nearly 97% of its funds are utilised for
educational scholarships and medical assistance, ensuring that
most donations directly benefit needy individuals.
Residents and social workers have appreciated the trust’s
efforts in transforming lives through timely support for education

and healthcare. The trust continues to assist deserving
students and families facing medical emergencies.
