To mark World Environment Day, the Ramnagar Association organised a tree planting programme Friday, June 5, 2026.
Mr. V. Rama Rao, advisor of the Tamil Nadu State Senior Citizen Forum and advisor to the Federation of Nanganallur Welfare Associations, presided over the event and planted a sapling in front of the Ramnagar Association office.
Mr. T.M. Sampath, president of Ramnagar Association, Mr. V. Srinivasan, secretary of the association, Mr. T.N. Srinivasan, president of Thillaiganga Nagar Association, Mr. Sankar from the Federation of Nanganallur Welfare Associations, and executive committee members of Ramnagar Association participated in the programme.
The participants emphasized the importance of planting and protecting trees to create a greener and healthier environment for future generations.
