Adambakkam-based Deiveega Iyal Isai Mandram is organising
a devotional music, Thirukkural, Tamil vocal singing, classical
dance and mridangam competition Sunday, July 12, 2026, at
Little Flower Primary School, opposite Sundara Vinayagar
temple, NGO Colony, Adambakkam.
The competitions will begin at 9 am with the devotional songs
competition. The Thirukkural reciting competition will be held at
10 am, followed by the Tamil vocal singing competition at 11
am.
The musical instrumental competition will take place at 12 Noon
and mridangam competition is scheduled for 1 pm.
Participants will be judged by experienced music and dance
experts. Winners will receive prizes and certificates. The
competitions are open to different age categories, and
participants are expected to perform devotional songs and
classical dance items based on the rules prescribed by the
organisers.
The organisers have announced that applications must be
submitted before July 10. Interested participants can contact
