Married Superwomen, a popular online community founded by
Mrs. Malavika Sridharan, has invited nominations for its
Humanist Awards 2026, which aim to recognise men who
actively support gender equity and help create a fair and
discrimination-free society.
The award will honour men who challenge traditional gender
stereotypes and practise equality in their every day lives. The
community is looking for inspiring partners, fathers, colleagues,
friends, and other role models who support and uplift people
regardless of gender.
Members of the public are encouraged to nominate deserving
individuals by sharing their stories of allyship and contributions
towards building a gender discrimination-free world.
Nominations should include the nominee’s name and details of
how he promotes fairness, respect and equal opportunities.
Entries must be sent to [email protected] on or before June
30, 2026. The selected award recipients should be available to
attend the award ceremony and receive the honour in person in
Chennai Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Married Superwomen is known for its efforts to empower
women while encouraging inclusive social change. Through the
Humanist Awards, the community seeks to celebrate men who

walk the talk and serve as examples of positive change in
society.
Mrs. Malavika Sridharan said the initiative was intended to
recognise changemakers who believe in and practise equity,
creating a more supportive and equal world for all. The
community has called upon the public to participate actively
and help identify deserving awardees.
“Let us celebrate the changemakers together,” the organisers
said while inviting nominations from across the community.
