… as a bike rally at Madipakkam

Madipakkam Social Service (MSS) Trust organised its
Independence Day bike rally with the participation of many
members. The rally was held as part of the 80th Indian
Independence Day celebrations Saturday, August 15, 2026,
and visited several residents’ welfare associations in
Madipakkam and nearby areas.
The rally started from Madipakkam bus stand. The members
then visited Sheela Nagar Welfare Association, Madipakkam
Northeast Residents Welfare Association, Kuberan Nagar
Welfare Association, Lakshmi Nagar Association and
Madipakkam South East Youth Welfare Association.
The rally continued to LIC Nagar, BKR Nagar Association,
Mahalakshmi Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar Extension, J.S.
Sakthi Nagar, Ponniamman Temple Junction and Thilagar
Avenue Welfare Association. The final visit was to
Puzhuthivakkam Balaji Nagar Association.
At the various locations, the members participated in the
Independence Day programmes and hoisted the national flag
along with the respective associations.
The rally covered 14 points over a total distance of about 13.5
km. A large number of members took part enthusiastically in
the rally. This was the trust’s 8th year of organising the

Independence Day bike rally, reflecting its continued
commitment to community participation and social service.
