The 9th annual sports meet of D.A.V. Baba School was held
successfully at St. Thomas Police Playground, Nazarethpuram,
Chennai, Thursday, August 6, 2026. Students took part in the
event with great enthusiasm and displayed their talent and
sporting spirit.
School correspondent, Ms. Kalyani, welcomed the gathering
and appreciated the support extended by the Rotary Club of
Nanganallur Elite. The club sponsored 350 certificates for the
students who participated in the sports meet.
She also honoured the chief guest, Ms. Meena Sathish,
president, Rotary Club of Nanganallur Elite, and encouraged
the students to take part actively in sports and work towards
excellence.
Ms. Meena Sathish, in her address, motivated the students and
spoke about the importance of discipline, teamwork,
perseverance and a healthy competitive spirit in shaping young
minds.
The sports meet featured enthusiastic participation by the
students, who displayed determination, confidence and
sportsmanship throughout the events. The programme
concluded on a positive note, highlighting the importance of
sports in the overall development of students.
The Rotary Club of Nanganallur Elite continues to support
education, youth development and community service through
its various initiatives.
