On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Inner Wheel Club of Nanganallur, along with
Sankara Eye Hospital, conducted a free eye camp for the public. The camp was
organised in a medical van near the NLA building, Nanganallur.
Doctors and nurses examined around 100 people during the camp. Some patients
were diagnosed for cataract surgery, while others were advised to undergo further
check-ups.
Club past president, Mrs. Kanchana, arranged the camp. President, Mrs. Bharathi,
along with a few other members, actively participated and helped in conducting the
camp smoothly, says a note from club editor, Mrs. S. Anandhi.
