The free cataract surgery screening camp was conducted
successfully at Karthikeyapuram, Madipakkam, by Madipakkam
Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi in association with Sankara Eye
Hospital.
A total of 84 people attended the camp. After medical
examination, 24 people were identified for cataract surgery.
The surgeries were done successfully.
From pick-up to drop, a van facility was arranged by Sankara
Eye Hospital for the patients. Free transportation was provided
to take the selected patients to the hospital and bring them
back safely after the surgery.
The camp was organised in a smooth and well-planned
manner, and the beneficiaries expressed their happiness and
gratitude to the organisers and doctors.
