Residents of Nanganallur have a wonderful opportunity to learn
Yoga from Sanyasi Krishnayogam, founder of Satyananda
Yoga Centre. A four-week, free, yoga course, based on the
Bihar School of Yoga tradition will begin Sunday, July 5, 2026.
The classes will be held at Shri Sudarshan Terrace Hall, B-2,
Lakshmi Nagar Main Road, Nanganallur, Chennai – 600061.
Regular classes will be conducted from 5.30 am to 7 am.
Monday to Saturday.
The free course is open to both men and women and is aimed
at improving physical, mental and spiritual health. The training
follows the Bihar School of Yoga curriculum and includes
asanas, pranayama, meditation, concentration, relaxation
techniques, mantra chanting, value education, healthy food
habits and shat kriyas for better health.
Participants who successfully complete the course can later
join advanced pranayama and higher Yoga programmes,
including Kundalini Yoga, Prana Vidya and Kriya Yoga. Those
who had attended the classes earlier but discontinued their
practice are also welcome to join again.
