School celebrates 40 th annual day

Brilliant Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Madipakkam,
celebrated its 40th annual day Saturday, January 31, 2026, in a
grand and colourful manner.
Founder and correspondent, Dr. D. Subramaniam welcomed
chief guest, Prof. Dr. Vaddi Seshagiri Rao, principal of St.
Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai, and the guest of
honour, Prof. Dr. S.V. Saravanan, principal and Senior
Professor, Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College,
Chennai.
Vice Correspondent, Mr. Sivakumar D.S. introduced the chief
guest and guest of honour.
Principal and secretary, Dr. Premalatha D.S. presented the
annual report, highlighting the school’s activities, achievements,
students’ progress, and the vital role played by teachers.
The chief guest delivered an inspiring speech, while the guest
of honour spoke about the important role of parents in shaping
children in the modern era.
School toppers, centum scorers in public examinations, and
students with academic achievements were honoured with
prizes in the form of books, cash and scholarships worth Rs.
1,90,000.

Students presented attractive cultural programmes including
Tamil and English dramas, dances, mime shows and
instrumental music.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks by administrative
