Balancing art and academics with panache

Ms. Adhithi, a student of Nanganallur Modern School and a
renowned Bharatanatyam dancer from Tandanallur Natyalaya,
Nanganallur, has brought pride to her school and locality with
her recent achievements.
She recently participated in the Republic Day celebrations held
at Lok Bhavan (formerly Raj Bhavan), Chennai, Monday,
January 26, 2026.
As part of the event, she took part in an essay competition and
won the second prize. She received a certificate from
Governor, Mr. R.N. Ravi, in recognition of her achievement.
Continuing her success, on Monday, February 2, Ms. Adhithi
performed a solo Bharatanatyam dance recital at the Bharat
Nritya Utsav of Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Mylapore.
Her performance was well appreciated by the audience, and
she was honoured with a memento by the organisers.
Her achievements reflect her dedication to academics and
classical arts and have made Nanganallur proud.
