New installations on Nanganallur footpaths

Steel benches have been placed across Nanganallur
pedestrian paths for people to sit and relax. Now, a new
attraction has been added on 5th Main Road footpath, near
Nehru School, Nanganallur.
Two new statues have been installed on the platform. One
shows a young girl happily jogging with her dog.
The other statue shows a man sitting on a steel bench, wearing
a T-shirt with the words ‘Health Walk’.
These creative installations have attracted many walkers and
residents of Nanganallur.
Regular walkers shared that the initiative by Greater Chennai
Corporation (GCC) was welcoming. They said it motivates
people to come for walking regularly and also attracts
youngsters who will make them selfie points.
