Road improvement works in progress

Road improvement works have started in many parts of
Nanganallur. Greater Chennai Corporation has begun road
milling works to lay black topping in several streets.
In Ram Nagar 4th Street, road milling work has been completed
and the road is now getting ready for a new black top surface.
Residents are happy that the damaged road will soon be
replaced with a new, smooth one.
Similarly, in Lakshmi Nagar Main Road, the road milling work
has been completed. The new road is expected to be laid
shortly.
At the same time, sewage pipe replacement work is going on
from Ram Nagar 2nd Main Road to NSK Road towards 1st
Main Road, Nanganallur. Due to this work, the road is
completely blocked for vehicles.
Motorists who want to take a right turn from NSK Road to reach
3rd Main Road, Ram Nagar, are advised to take 1st Main
Road, Nanganallur first and then take a right turn onto 2nd
Main Road to reach their destination.
Residents are requested to cooperate with the authorities until
the works are completed. Once finished, these improvements
are expected to provide better roads and smoother travel for
the public.
