Blood donation camp for thalassemia patients

The Rotary Club of Nanganallur is organising a blood donation
camp in association with VHS Taramani Sunday, May 3, 2026.
This camp is being conducted to support people affected by
thalassemia, who require regular blood transfusions for
survival. The organisers have appealed to the public to come
forward and donate blood to help save lives.

The initiative aims to spread awareness about the importance
of blood donation and encourage more people to participate in
this life-saving cause. The organisers also emphasised that a
single unit of blood can help save multiple lives.
The camp is led by club president, Mr. Anand Kumar A, and
secretary, Mr. Yogesh B. Dave, who have invited residents of
Nanganallur and nearby areas to actively take part in this noble
effort.
