Mathru puja marks Eswaramma Day celebrations

On the occasion of Eswaramma Day celebrations, special
spiritual programmes were conducted Wednesday, May 6,
2026, by the Nanganallur Main Samithi, 2nd Main Road.
The celebrations began at 5 am with a devotional Nagar
Sankeerthanam, where devotees sang bhajans and spiritual
songs through the streets with great devotion.
At 5 pm, a special Mathru puja was conducted with love,
respect and devotion to honour mothers and motherhood. The
programme created a divine and emotional atmosphere among
the devotees.
With the blessings of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Swami, 12
girl children, six boys, 22 parents, eight gurus, 12 mahilas, and
six Sevadal members participated and made the event
spiritually meaningful and successful.
Around 70 devotees took part in this holy puja and received the
blessings of Mother Eswaramma.
During the event, Baba’s teachings about the greatness of
mothers were also shared with the devotees. The message
highlighted that ‘Mother is the 1st guru, 1st guide, and the
embodiment of selfless love’.
Devotees were reminded to respect and serve their mothers to
receive divine blessings.
The celebrations concluded in a peaceful and devotional
atmosphere, with prayers that Mother Eswaramma’s blessings
may bring love, peace, unity, devotion and good values into
every home.
