Grooming the young to be leaders

The Rotary Club of Nanganallur Elite installed the Interact Club
for academic year 2026–27 at Chellammal Vidyalaya Senior
Secondary School, Hindu Colony, Nanganallur, Saturday, July
25, 2026.
The programme was organised to encourage students to
develop leadership qualities and take part in community service
by following Rotary’s motto, ‘Service Above Self’.
Interact Club will provide students with opportunities to
participate in social service, environmental awareness,
leadership training and various community welfare activities
throughout the year.
The chief guest was Mr. Parasuraman Krishnamoorthi,
additional chairman – Interact. A motivational session was
conducted by Mrs. V. Sindhuja, head – HR, Brensol, and
certified soft skills trainer.
Mrs. Meena Sathish, president of Rotary Club of Nanganallur
Elite, said the club remains committed to empowering young
minds through meaningful service activities.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Mrs.
Meena Sathish, secretary, Mr. Ilayaraja Sundaresan, treasurer,
Mr. T. Nagarajan, director – youth service, Mr. Muralidharan,
chairman – Interact & Rotaract, Mr. Krishna Prasad, and
chairman – projects & events, Mr. K. Sundararajan.
