Project to help govt school kids with dictionaries

Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Nanganallur discussed its
upcoming community service initiative – which is to distribute
dictionaries to students of government schools. It is scheduled
to be carried out in the coming week.
The project was discussed after the installation ceremony of the
club for 2026–27 that was held at Ranjani Hall on July 29,
2026.
The function was attended by club members, Rotary
representatives, friends and well-wishers. Outgoing president,
Mrs. Bharathi, formally handed over the leadership to the new
president, Mrs. Sujatha Padmanabhan.
After assuming office, Mrs. Sujatha Padmanabhan welcomed
the gathering and introduced her team for the new term.
The chief guest of the function was Mrs. Aandal Priyadarshini,
renowned poet, Kalaimamani awardee, former director of
Podhigai TV and Sun TV, author, and motivational speaker.
The guest of honour was Mrs. Supriya Sundaraman, chairman
of Inner Wheel District 323.
The newly installed office-bearers include Mrs. Revathy – vice
president; Mrs. Kanchana Raman – secretary; Mrs. Radha
Veeraraghavan – treasurer; Mrs. Saraswathy Ekambaram –

international service organiser; and Mrs. Anandhi Sundararajan

  Wheel and proprietrix of Abirami Mega Mall, felicitated the new
  team of office-bearers.
