The Rotary Club of Chennai Beehives organised a tree
plantation programme to mark the 11th remembrance day of
former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The event was conducted with the generous support of Mr.
Nelson of Nelson Arts. Club president, Dr. V. Thiagarajan,
participated in the programme and planted saplings along with
other participants.
A large number of residents and children enthusiastically took
part in the tree plantation drive, making the event a meaningful
tribute to the People’s President.
The programme also encouraged the public to protect the
environment by planting and caring for trees.
