The Chaturmasya Vratham is currently being observed by
Pujyasri Ramananda Saraswati Mahaswamigal, Peetadhipathi
of Srichakra Rajarajeswari Peetam, at the peetam’s Chennai
Ashram in Nanganallur.
The 2-month spiritual observance began Wednesday, July 29,
2026, and will continue until September 26. The vratham
commenced on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima,
when Sri Ramananda Saraswati Mahaswamigal performed the
Vyasa puja to Sri Veda Vyasa and Guru Parampara from 10
am to 1 pm.
The programmes are being held at No.1A, Maruthathmajam
Flat, 2nd Main Road (near CUB ATM), Ramnagar, Nanganallur,
Chennai – 61.
As part of the Chaturmasya Vratham, Sri Ramananda
Saraswati Mahaswamigal is conducting daily pujas to
Jaganmata Sri Rajarajeswari, Sri Guru Paduka, Sri Lakshmi
Narasimhaswamy, and other deities of the peetam.
Several religious and spiritual programmes have also been
planned throughout the Chaturmasya period.
Devotees are participating in the daily rituals and are invited to
offer padha puja, Bhikshavandanam, pushpa kainkaryam, and
annadana kainkaryam to receive the blessings of Jaganmata
Rajarajeswari and Guru Maharaj.
