Polling station gets spruced up

| S VENKATESHWARAN |

At Chennai Primary School, located on 6th Main Road, work is
currently under way to replace the main gate. The old gate, in
use for many years, is now being changed as part of
preparations for the upcoming elections.
Since the school is expected to be used as a polling station,
officials have started improving the entrance to ensure better
safety and easy access for the public.
The existing gate had become worn out over time, making it
necessary to instal a new one.
Residents in the area have welcomed this move, as it will not
only help during the election period but also benefit students
and staff in the long run.
