Shanthi Nagar Welfare Association, Adambakkam, celebrated
India’s 80th Independence Day at the Shanthi Nagar Children’s
Playground on Third Street, Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Residents and members of the association took part in the
celebration with patriotic spirit.
The programme included the hoisting of the national flag,
followed by patriotic activities and greetings to the residents.
Mr. T. Nandakumar, joint Secretary of the association, delivered the Independence day address after the flag hoisting.
The celebration highlighted the importance of freedom, unity
and love for the nation. Residents, children and association
members participated enthusiastically and made the occasion
memorable.
